I am a masters student at the University of Waterloo in the Applied Mathematics Department working under Prof. Kirsten Morris and Prof. David Del Rey Fernández. My research interests lie in Differential Equations ∩ Machine Learning. My current research involves modeling dynamical systems, such as Hamiltonian and Port-Hamiltonian systems, using neural networks. Furthermore, I am working on state estimation and stable (in the sense of Lyapunov) learning of these systems. I completed my undergraduate thesis under Prof. Bin Han at the University of Alberta in the field of Classical Fourier Analysis.
I am also interested in learning Probability Theory. I will be a mentor for the Women in Math Directed Reading Program covering topics in Modern Probability Theory. I will cover topics like concentration inequalities, VC-dimensions and random matrix theory. I am an active member of the UWaterloo Tennis Club. I love Middle Eastern food and bubble tea. I am open to discussing any research enquiries and collaborations!
